Colossians 2:16-23

Many are attempting to earn righteousness by keeping religious rules, rituals and manmade practices. These have no value in overcoming our flesh and no value in our salvation in Christ. The contrast is between outward behaviors versus inward changes of heart. Christ has made us righteous in is working in us. He works in us so His work and character come out of us.
