People are searching for meaning and fulfillment in the world today.  They become enamored and absorbed in things that are a distraction, but don’t touch the deepest needs in their hearts.  After seasons of failure, frustration, and emptiness, they become more open to listen to the gospel.  Sadly, some in the church today have only a token commitment in following Jesus.  They are often pretenders and their faith doesn’t hold up under pressure.  How do we become true pursuers and really follow Christ.  Today’s teaching will give you some food for thought to examine if you are a pretender or a pursuer of Christ.
