Isaac Watts, a famous poet and song writer in the early to mid-1700’s was meditating through Psalm 98 and penned the words to a familiar song we often sing during the Christmas season. The focus of this song was not about the first coming of Jesus we know as the Christmas season, but about the glorious second coming of Christ. We shall look this morning at the babe who was born in a stable and laid in a feeding trough who is returning as the conquering king. He will make wrong things right and set up His eternal kingdom forever! Let’s fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
