When God created all of creation He rested and gave human kind the gift of resting on the seventh day. Many believers have forgotten this gift and forgotten that it is a commandment. God doesn’t want us to be legalistic about it though. He desires us to enjoy it and let Him provide for us. This is not a legalistic law, but a ordinary principle of God and creation. God thought it up, not the Jews or Moses. Let’s look at the word and see the bigger picture of this amazing gift and how to implement it in our lives.
