Biblical Sexuality

 I am pressed by the Holy Spirit to write concerning biblical sexuality. We live in an age of such confusion regarding gender identity and dysphoria. In these past few years, I have heard a group of people say follow the science. Then, they abruptly ignore established science. For many of these people, science is according to their own contrived narratives. It seems to be truth if someone wants to believe it emotionally or have declared it psychologically.

Allow me to demonstrate my point. Established science clearly defines that there are two biological sexes. Male and female. Males have xy chromosomes and females have xx chromosomes. That is how God made us from the beginning recorded in the Book of Genesis. Science simply validates what the recorded scriptures delineates. Why is this important? It has spiritual and practical implications. If God is the creator and establisher of truth, then He made things to work a certain way. Without being unnecessarily crude, picture a naked man and a naked woman. As you examine the “plumbing” it is very obvious how God created men and women for pleasure and procreation in marriage. When Pastor Rick Warren was being interviewed by Larry King on his radio show, he gave the example I just stated and it left Larry King speechless. Larry was an advocate for multiple genders. It caused him to take pause. I could only wish that many in our current-day culture would do the same.

 A story was told me about a duck on a farm. This duck ran around with two dogs. The duck seemed to believe that he was a dog. He tried to run and jump like a dog. He even ate out of dog food bowls. A day came when a fox was attacking this farmers chickens. The farmer’s wife saw what was happening from a distance. She could not get to the ordeal to stop the fox and rescue the duck. The dogs were off somewhere else and the duck attempted to protect the chickens. He acted like a dog and made a honking charge. The fox killed the duck and ran away with him in his mouth! The duck was not a dog and was no match for a fox. 

Why would I tell this story? When men declare they are women and attempt to act like women and women declare they are men and attempt to act like men, it does not bode well. Some say they are transgender, gender fluid, or take on the identity of an animal. Instead of common sense and understanding they have gender dysphoria issues, we have a culture that enables their confusion. Many try desperately to make their beliefs and lifestyle acceptable. We almost act like the people who knew the emperor had not a new robe. They acted like it was normal to be a naked man in public! I call it insanity!

I truly can say I love these people and am willing to help them to be restored to God’s point of view and lifestyle, even if publishing this article could get me censored. They can be helped, delivered, healed, and be restored to a happy and normal life. I have seen this happen numerous times. My deep concern is that those pushing this narrative do not publish studies of the severe psychological impact of people in these long-term lifestyles. Studies show that people caught in a sexual dysphoria lifestyles are more apt to struggle with depression, fear of rejection, strong confusions, and are 9 times more susceptible to suicidal thoughts and attempts. They are more prone to diseases and life expectancies are 12-15 years shorter than the national average.
